Well, our girls now have holiday accomodation, or alternative housing. This is a result of the 330m of rain that fell here, making their motel just a bit wet. So now they can recline in the motel, or move to the new dry houst and run under the mulberry. As you can see, they, and margaret, are very happy with it

BUGGERATION! We have had big rain and the roof leaks. Luckily we have not paid for it.

So there it is. After weeks of waiting---will it rain today or wont it---the new roof has made it. Hard to see but it IS there.
The whole job took 7 hours. We are very impressed. Now we are secure, dry, and with 2 whirley birds to keep us even cooler.
The solar hot water system is too big for a small family---we produce too much hot water---imagine that, so Murray(!) is replacing the ppanels with smaller ones. He said we should have more baths, but what about saving water?

Its hard for a bloke to have lunch in peace here without somebody wanting to muscle in on the mango.
